KIMO-resolution 25/01 - Bekæmpelse af forurening fra mistede containere

Resolution 25/01 updates KIMO’s demands for measures against pollution caused by containers lost from ships. The document calls for better compliance with regulations regarding vessel planning, greater transparency concerning container losses, and improved traceability to facilitate recovery. Drawing on lessons learned from incidents such as the MSC Zoe it aims to ensure that the costs and environmental risks associated with lost cargo do not fall upon coastal municipalities.
